The Columbus Technical Council is a 501 c (3) not for profit organization dedicated to enhancing science education and promoting excellence in the engineering, science, and technical professions. Founded over a half-century ago by a group of Battelle engineers and scientists, the CTC continues to recognize scientific achievement by providing science awards and grants to students, teachers, and schools and a Technical Person of the Year Award. The CTC is comprised of a dozen Central Ohio chapters of professional societies representing about 7,000 members. CTC is grateful for the financial support from scientific nonprofit organizations, technical companies, and from the Ohio Department of Education.
